A Discussion of Bacon Grief with author Joel D. Shoemaker, MLIS In-Person
Bacon Grief tells the story of how Charlie, an active church member and musical theater nerd from a loving family meets Tim, who is a pastor’s son, from a rural family that does not as readily accept him. They decide that they want to be more than just friends, but Tim is struggling with how to reconcile his faith and being a member of the LGBTQ community. The author, librarian Joel Shoemaker of Methodist College, will be present to discuss his book, and accept any questions the attendees may have.
