Talk Time With: Jennifer Castro In-Person

“Talk Time” a new service offering at the Waukegan Public Library. Each week, two trained social workers will be available to talk with community members in either a drop-in group format or through one-on-one appointments.

The concept of “Talk Time” is meant to remove the stigma of counseling or behavioral health while connecting our community members to self-care strategies and resources. Services are free. The program is a partnership between the library and the Josselyn Center, in Waukegan. The program is funded through a grant from Lake Forest Hospital.
