Ray Bradbury Summer Writing Contest: To the Future! In-Person

For this year, we're looking for written works imagining the future, whether it be bright or dark, utopian or dystopian, or somewhere in-between. The story or poem must take place at least fifty years into the future. Email your entries to samberinger@waukeganpl.info before August 15th for the chance to win a $20 Amazon Gift Card and your work read aloud on the library's Facebook.

Requirements:

Format must be 12 pt. Times New Roman or Arial

Maximum 20 pages double-spaced

Can be in English or Spanish (interpreters will help judge Spanish entries)

Include a separate page with your name and contact information
