The Fleeting Grace of Spring Ephemerals In-Person
Have you ever noticed how beautiful Illinois woodlands are in the early spring? In this presentation, participants will be introduced to spring ephemerals ...those beautiful woodland wildflowers that grace us with their presence in early spring only to completely disappear by June 1st. In addition to identifying characteristics, participants will learn about their unique nature, the strategies they incorporate, and partnerships they create in order to reproduce and grace us with their presence spring after spring.
